For an institute focused on innovative, early-stage clinical research we are looking for a Clinical Programmer. As the focus lies on clinical research you will contribute to the development of high-quality treatments on a multitude of healthcare frontiers. Their goal is to combine the most innovative and cutting-edge facilities to maximise a successful outcome. Therapeutic areas you will contribute to are neurology, immunology, cardiovascular, and infectious diseases. With all the in-house knowledge available, you will always learn new things. The team you will be working with currently exists of eight people where there is an informal dynamic driven by humour and quality. You can learn programming, method development, statistical programming, or other skills, just let us know, the possibilities are endless.
As Clinical Programmer, you will be working on multiple projects at the same time whilst also supporting the in-house Clinical Database Designers. You will be involved from start to finish, talking with all the stakeholders and users to eventually make sure transfer files are properly created, safety tables are delivered including figures and listings (TFL’s). Your primary goal is to make sure existing macro’s are properly maintained and new ones are created, safety reporting is generated, electronic data files are processed, and transfer files are set up. Besides SAS programming there is room for you to develop yourself as a programmer, in case you’re not familiar with macro’s yet, you can learn these on the job. In case you see other aspects in the team that you find interesting, express it and you can add it to your responsibilities.
