For a rapidly growing medical devices scale-up, we are looking for a Freelance Senior Manufacturing Engineer. The organisation develops and produces innovative and life changing electronic medical devices with the goal to give people more time to enjoy life. Currently, the organisation experiences tremendous growth, and is expected to become a global leader in the near future. At the moment, about 100 employees work at the organisation which are talented and ambitious professionals who believe in a work hard, play hard approach.

Function

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you are a linking pin in the organisation. You are responsible for improving processes, maintaining performance objectives and solving technical problems. You are also responsible for assigned manufacturing processes and deliver improvements in cycle time, cost, quality, reliability and capacity while maintaining the best level of performance.

Requirements

Next to a proactive attitude the organisation is looking for someone that has:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Experience within a production/manufacturing environment with automation processes and fine electrical products
  • Worked within the medical devices industry
  • Experience with IQ/ OQ /PQ process
  • A high proficiency in MiniTab
  • Experience with ISO 13485
  • Excellent communication skills spoken and written in English
