A leading organisation in the medical devices industry is looking for a seasoned Customer Service Manager. Despite being one of the leading and most innovative medical devices organisation worldwide, they constantly seek ways to bring technology, therapies, and service together and on a world-class level. This organisation is ranked among the best workplaces worldwide, and has their Main European Distribution Center located in the Northern part of Limburg. You will lead a team of eight direct reports, and your goal is to pursue the best in class service and communication towards customers, vendors, and other distribution centers in the EMEA region.


The purpose of this role is to build a strong international team who prioritises service as the most important aspect of their work. The team will be the intermediary between the business, and transportation, operations, and local customer service offices spread through Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Next to that, you need to ensure staff is appropriately trained on all aspects applicable to run a compliant operation. Next to that, travelling is estimated to be one week every two months to local office and clients to maintain and further build the relationships. On top of that, the business grows with 25% annually, so you will also be engaged in continuous improvement and new business opportunities in distribution and logistics.


The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management or logistics
  • Proven track record of minimal three years in people management on international level with different cultures
  • At least five years of experience within order management, operations, or customer service with a focus on international distribution
  • Solid understanding of warehousing in terms of set-up, capacity planning and optimisation
  • Ability to build and coach an effective team and to set and communicate clear goals
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Customer oriented mindset
  • Desire to win and continuously grow


The organisation can offer:

  • Annual base salary between €55,000 to €80,000 depending on your experience
