For a worldwide, well respected and leading contract research organisation (CRO) we are looking for a multi-skilled Laboratory Supervisor. The area you will be working in, is one of the laboratory sections together with other lab staff, the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Director. There are different sections from lipids, to automated line and R&D for example. If you have the willingness to keep developing, this is possible by making use of the award winning internal L&D programs. Getting excited?


The central lab is well developed and equipped for all phases of clinical development, clients will have the options to request standalone services as wel as full serviced clinical trial management. As the new Laboratory Supervisor you will have a diverse set of responsibilities that will support the every day activities of the assigned laboratory unit. Together with the different managers and laboratory director you will coordinate and supervise the mandatory lab activities to ensure that positive results are being achieved on the scientific and administrative side. You will oversee and review Quality Control, maintain the QC database, set-up and validate new assays as presented by the manager.


What we like to see in a candidate:

  • Bachelor in a relevant science related field like Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science
  • At least five years of experience as a Medical Technologist
  • Critical thinking
  • Expert organisational skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Laboratory skills in a pharmaceutical context
  • Technical laboratory skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to assess analytical issues

Note: we are open to review candidates who have other relevant experience or a combination of expertise, skills and abilities that line up with Laboratory Supervisor tasks.
