For an innovative organisation that develops, manufactures and sells high-quality, class-III medical devices, we are looking for a QC Manager. This organisation has a local culture with international influences. They work with industry-known clients for whom they development (custom-made) products. This results in several production processes and therefore you will find yourself in a dynamic work environment. By promising to launch two new innovations per year, this organisation tries to differentiate themselves in the market.


This is a new and crucial role in the organisation with a goal to increase oversight on critical quality factors throughout the production process.

As a QC Manager, you will oversee a team of QC professionals and you will be responsible for the entire process from receiving inspections to product release and every step in between. Think of: product inspection, in-line inspection, final inspection, CAPA’s, and writing work instructions. Next to control activities, you will be responsible for process and product improvements (LEAN), non-conformities, supplier quality control and projects around product quality metrics (dashboards). This diverse set of tasks asks for someone who can keep clear oversight over multiple projects and tasks.


We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous QC Manager experience, including direct reports
  • Knowledge of the relevant quality tools such as 8D, 5Why, FMEA and Fishbone
  • Green Belt certified
  • Experience with CAPA, setting up dashboards and writing work instructions
  • Proactive mindset, e.g. setting up processes immediately when seeing the chance
  • Ability to keep a helicopter view over multiple projects/initiatives
  • Strong communicator towards all layers of the organisation
