Supplier Development Quality Engineer - Ede

As a Supplier Development Quality Engineer, you build and maintain relationships with suppliers. This role involves all stages of the product lifecycle, using customer, factory, and supplier feedback to improve supplier quality.

In your daily activities, you work with suppliers. You will plan, conduct and document appropriate activities to assure the continued quality of parts. With this comes also visiting the suppliers once a month (mainly in NL, BE & DE). You will provide quality management support to supplier re-sourcing programs and manage supplied material quality issues raised by the factory and customers. Other tasks within your role are carrying out capability assessments of potential suppliers in response to the organisation’s procurement strategy. Thereby, you will work with the factory and suppliers to ensure problems are effectively resolved and investigations are fully documented. You are responsible for closing identified supplier related NCR’s in a sustainable and timely fashion. Lastly, you also support and contribute to the supplier approvals process and help with the identification of supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans for business continuity.
