In this specialised position, we seek a Microbiology Formulation Scientist to reinforce Aphea.Bio's R&D team. This scientist will take charge of all aspects concerning the formulation development of newly identified biostimulant and biocontrol products rooted in bacteria and fungi. Your mission will involve crafting and refining protocols for microbial product formulations, specifically tailored for seed and foliar applications. Your expertise will be put to the test as you develop and assess prototype formulations, striving for the most optimal formulation in various states, whether liquid or solid. Scaling up from laboratory to pilot and full-scale production is all part of the journey. You'll be pivotal in defining, developing, and validating commercially viable formulations, all while keeping a watchful eye on factors like cost, stability, shelf-life, efficacy, safety, and alignment with current agricultural practices. Collaborating with external research partners is part of the game, ensuring efficient project management and a constant pulse on advancements in microbiology formulation research and technology. Detailed documentation and mentorship of the technical team will be your guiding principles. This role is an integral part of our R&D leadership team, as they work together to shape a more sustainable future for agriculture.
