As a Business Developer, you will identify and build strong relationships with pioneering companies and academic leaders across deep-tech sectors such as energy transition, biobased innovations, photonics, and robotics. You’ll sell strategic consulting and grant services that accelerate clients' innovations from lab to market, helping them secure the funding needed to scale. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll guide them through the complexities of national and EU grant landscapes. This fast-paced role requires autonomy, resilience, and strong sales instincts, as you'll manage a short-cycle pipeline and continuously expand your network in emerging technologies that address major environmental and societal challenges.

Wat jij mee brengt

 
  • MSc in Life Sciences, Engineering or related field is preferable
  • 3–5 years’ commercial experience (ideally in tech or innovation consulting)
  • Solid understanding of national/international funding instruments (e.g., Horizon, Eurostars)
  • Driven, entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills
  • Comfortable in a high-rejection, high-impact environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships in fast-paced, short-cycle sales settings
  • Affinity with sustainable innovations and a passion for accelerating positive global impact
