An international Life Sciences consultancy is developing their commercial presence within the Netherlands and is seeking a Sr Account Manager to accelerate growth across pharma, biotech, and medical devices.

 

Renowned for their expertise in quality, regulatory, validation and digital compliance, they partner with clients across the full product lifecycle, from early-stage development to commercialisation. This role is a consultative, relationship-focused position on building strategic accounts and pro-curing high-value projects.

As the Sr Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and expanding business within the Dutch life sciences, with a strong emphasis on building long-term partnerships and delivering solution-led sales. If you find the role aligns with you, your key responsibilities include: 
  • Creating and implementing sales strategies to grow the life sciences client base;
  • Identifying, prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities across prospective and existing clients;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, Quality     Assurance, Validations, Regulatory and Operational leaders;
  • Transforming technical and compliance related challenges into bespoke consulting, project or software solutions;
  • Managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal development through to negotiation and contract closure;
  • Maximising cross-selling and upselling opportunities throughout service lines, including Quality Assurance, Qualification & Validation, and software solutions;

Wat jij mee brengt

As Sr Account Manager, you bring strong commercial acumen, profound life sciences knowledge and relationship-building expertise to develop strategic partnerships and deliver tailored, solution-led services. To succeed you bring: 
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, or commercial roles preferably within consultancy or service-based environments;
  •  Established network within the Dutch life sciences sector, ideally across manufacturing and quality functions;
  • Affinity or experience with Quality Assurance, Qualification & Validation, and software-driven compliance services;
  • Proven ability to sell complex, high-value services or projects;
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to engage both technical specialists and senior decision-makers confidently;
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a scientific field;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English;
