As the Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of the companys’ key accounts by building strong customer relationships and cross-selling services. You will collaborate with ambitious team members, including account managers, business developers, and product developers, with ample opportunities for growth and leadership. You will be responsible for the performance and growth of key accounts, while building and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role focuses on consultative sales and cross-selling services, and you will work closely with scientists and researchers to meet client needs. National and international travel may be required, so flexibility is essential.

Wat jij mee brengt

To succeed in this role, you will need a proactive and solution-driven mindset, with experience in biotechnology or related industries and additionally: 

 

  • Strong academic background (Master's in bioscience, biotechnology, or a related field preferred).

  • Experience in account management or a similar commercial role.

  • Familiarity with microbiology and genomics technologies is a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively with scientists and researchers.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.

  • Experience working with CRM systems and business intelligence tools.

  • Flexibility to travel as needed.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-disciplinary team.
